A High Quality Wall Mounted Barre

Our aluminum barre system was designed to be everything you need. It's great for Ballet and Fitness routines. Made of high quality, aluminum with strong steel brackets. It provides the look and feel you expect from a premium ballet barre.

Specifications

• Perfect for commercial and home use for ballet/dance and barre fitness.

• Wall mounted barres for ultimate stability

• Systems consist of 2 components:  Aluminum Barres and Wall Mount Brackets with hardware.

• 1-1/2” diameter aluminum barres are powder coated Satin Silver and supplied with black endcaps.

• Powder coated finish is easily cleaned

• Barres are cut ½” shorter than stated length:  4’ = 47.5”,  5’=59.5”,  6’=71.5”,7’=83.5”, 8’=95.5”                   • Longer length barre systems over 8' ship in multiple barre sections.

• Barres are joined together within the bracket collars for a continuous length look.

• Brackets may be placed anywhere along the barre length.

• Brackets are made of heavy gauge 3/16" steel and are powder coated in a selection of colors.

• Holds 100 pounds per linear foot when properly installed.

• The number of brackets required depends on the length of the barre. Systems are configured for our recommended 4’ bracket spacing. End brackets should be brought in to allow for a few inches of barre overhang past the bracket. In some cases this may cause the end bracket spacing to be less than 4’.

• Systems include all components and hardware needed for installation into wood studs or wood backer board. Screws are provided for use underneath each bracket collar to secure the barres.

Installation

• When barres meet in a corner take 1’ off each barre dimension so that the barres do not touch in the corner.
• Barres support 100 lbs. per linear foot of static weigh when properly installed.
• Allow at least 2’ per person or more depending on the activity.
Ballet barres are typically mounted at 42” top of barre height, 42” and 32” for double barres.
• Barres for barre fitness are typically mounted between 36” and 40” top of barre height.
• Aluminum barres are easily wiped cleaned with a non-abrasive mild cleaner.
• Wall mounted barre brackets should be securely mounted to the wood studs of the wall or to a backer board. Hardware for mounting into wood comes provided with your wall brackets. If you have metal studs or a concrete wall, etc. you will need to purchase appropriate hardware from your local hardware or home improvement store.
• For this type of installation, we strongly recommend the use of a 1" x 6" backer board which is securely attached to the wall or to every stud. Then the wall brackets may be mounted to the backer board at the desired spacing. Never mount a barre into just the drywall as it can easily pull out.
• You should not attempt to mount wall brackets directly onto a mirror as it will surely crack the mirror. You may have the mirror cut out for the brackets to mount directly into the wall studs but this can get costly. We recommend a better method of attaching a 1" x 6" backer board to the wall, securing it to the wall or to every stud, then mount the barre onto the backer board.
• Then you may install a mirror above and below this backer board. Another method is to install vertical mirrors leaving a small space between the mirrors to mount the brackets into the studs. When a barre cannot be mounted onto a wall due to mirrors or windows, a floor mounted barre is another option.
